What is an Art Ramble?

The North Georgia Art Ramble is a free, self-guidedStudio and Gallery Tour“.   Come visit individual working artist’s studios and local galleries.


The locations on the tour cover a wide area of North Georgia including Canton, Ball Ground, Cumming, Marble Hill, Dawsonville, Buford, Duluth, John’s Creek, Roswell, Woodstock, Cartersville, Calhoun, and Jasper, Georgia.  Start “rambling” from any of the NGAR locations.  (See Map)  To get the exact locations either ask for a brochure to be mailed to you or just print one from our website using the handy pdf links below.  Also, to help you find your way look for the yellow and black NGAR directional signs posted at local cross streets.The tour showcases a variety of art forms from the functional to the whimsical and the abstract.   See art created from many different types of art mediums.But Wait There’s More! We are having a Pre-Ramble Party.

  • The Pre-Ramble party will be at the Cherokee Arts Center (site #1 on the map) 94 North Street, Canton, GA 30114.  Friday Dec. 5th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

Late fall has the Appalachian Mountains and Georgia foothills shimmering with leaves full of rich color and that wonderful crisp air. Load up the car, choose those favorite tunes, and set the GPS.   Join a select band of eclectic artists, art advocates, and local businesses and discover rambling and the creative spirit in all of us.
